Auto tinting typically ranges from one to four hours, depending on the model car and how many windows we’re tinting. If we're also removing existing film, we might ask you to drop it for the entire day.
You can decide whether you want to wait until the installation is complete or drop off your vehicle. While we have a waiting room with a TV and snacks, should you decide to wait, we prefer that you drop off your vehicle if possible. Call today about the vehicle graphics we offer!
Absolutely! We’ll pull your car into our climate controlled bays and thoroughly prep the glass before starting the auto tinting. Although it may take additional time for the tint to completely cure out in the cold, the end result will not be affected.
According to Alabama law, the legal tint for most windows is 32% visible light transmission (VLT). This means that 32% of light must be able to pass through the windows. Let us know if you have any more questions about office window tinting!
We typically ask that you keep your windows up for two or three days so that all the edges will have time to dry out completely. If windows are rolled down too soon after the auto tinting is complete, the tint can peel up.
The cure time depends on the film type and drying time of the remaining solution. While this is happening, it is still performing to its full capabilities, but you might see bubbles, haze, streaks, or other visual defects while drying. Don’t be alarmed! This is completely normal while the remaining solution evaporates. Additionally, the cure time can vary given different circumstances. If it’s a hot summer day, the film might be cured in a couple of days. On the other hand, if it’s a chilly winter day, the curing process might last a week or more. Wraps are a great way to advertise your business and stand out from the competition. They help add a professional look to your car and business. Here's a list of ways our vinyl vehicle graphics are perfect for you:
Wraps do not reduce the resale value of your car like a paint job does.
Vinyl car wraps protect your OEM paint and are 100% removable. Warranties and/or lease agreements remain valid. Painting can void warranties, increase the cost of insurance, and is not even an option with a lease.
Vinyl car wraps come in any color, even custom, and can have a matte, semi-gloss, gloss, brushed steel, carbon fiber, metallic flake, matte metallic, chrome and even leather-like finishes.
Yes, vinyl vehicle graphics can be removed without causing damage. In fact, this is one of their major advantages over painting or plasti-dip.
