How long does window film last?

With proper care our window films can last up to 10 years or more. At Designers you get complete peace of mind with a lifetime warranty on all of our automotive films.

What is the legal tint limit in Alabama?

In Alabama, front side windows must allow 32%+ light transmittance (32%+ VLT). Rear windows on SUVs, vans and trucks can be any darkness you prefer. Our professionals will be sure to help you choose the right shade for your ride.

How soon can I roll my windows down after tinting?

We recommend waiting 2–3 days after installation before rolling your windows down. That gives the film’s adhesive time to fully cure. The curing time can be slightly longer in cold or humid weather, so we’ll give you specific guidance on the day of installation.

What is ceramic window tint and why is it better?

Ceramic window tint uses nano ceramic particles — not metal — to block heat and UV radiation. Because there’s no metal layer, it won’t interfere with your GPS, Bluetooth, keyless entry or cell signal. It also outperforms dyed and metallic films in heat rejection, making your car significantly cooler in the Alabama summers.

If they hear the word motorcycle they have a miniature panic attack piddle their little pull-ups and tell you they don't want to touch it. But if you send somebody else with the exact same part and say it's for a car they'll wrap it
